The Snow Queen

august 064

Celebrate 20 years and kick off the holiday season with River City Youth Ballet Ensemble, West Virginia’s Official Youth Ballet, in our production of Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale “The Snow Queen,” with original choreography set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev.  With a cast of fifty young, talented dancers, including thirteen principals, the ballet offers exciting spectacle, a profound moral, and a child-friendly introduction to classical dance and the music of twentieth-century Russia’s greatest composer.

The show opens on Friday, November 13th at 7:00 pm, at the Civic Center Little Theater.  Admission: $12.00 adults, $8.00 children.

There is also a school performance (open to all schools and homeschoolers) on Friday, November 13th at 9:30am, to make your group reservation call 304-925-3262.
